Dr. Kristy Callon is a nationally board-certified acupuncturist and practitioner of Chinese Medicine, licensed in both Colorado and California. She holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (DAcHM) from Five Branches University and a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Medicine from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
Her path into Chinese Medicine began with her own health struggles. Frustrated by conventional treatments that didn’t provide lasting relief, she set out to uncover the root causes of her symptoms. Along the way, she discovered the profound wisdom of Chinese Medicine and was captivated by its holistic approach, which views the mind, body, and spirit as deeply interconnected and treats the whole person, not just disease.
Dr. Kristy became especially passionate about women’s health after more than a decade navigating hormonal imbalances and chronic skin issues. She is dedicated to helping women cultivate menstrual and hormonal balance, support reproductive health, and foster a deeper connection with their bodies. Her calling was further deepened after attending a home birth as a doula, where she witnessed the raw power and transformation of birth. Inspired by this experience, she is now working towards a specialization in prenatal and postpartum care, guiding women from conception through the fourth trimester with acupuncture, herbal medicine, and holistic support.
In her practice, Dr. Kristy treats a wide range of conditions, including digestive issues, stress, pain, insomnia, and emotional well-being. She bridges the gap between Traditional Chinese Medicine and modern medicine, creating individualized treatment plans that may include acupuncture, herbal therapy, dietary and lifestyle counseling, moxibustion, cupping, and gua sha. Above all, she is passionate about creating a space where patients feel truly heard, supported, and empowered on their health journey.
Outside the clinic, you’ll often find Dr. Kristy enjoying nature with her dog, exploring health and wellness research, or cooking nourishing meals. She also loves mindful movement whether through yoga, weight training, or outdoor adventures. And whenever she can, she recharges by soaking up the sun on a warm tropical beach.
Hi I’m Dr. Maggie!
With 8 years of clinical experience, my passion is encouraging patients’ bodies to heal through nervous system regulation, immune/digestive support, hormone balancing, and inflammation reduction.
Whether I am seeing patients for pain, hormones, stress, cosmetic procedures, or anything in between, I always take a full body approach. My treatments include nutrition and lifestyle recommendations because I believe making changes at home is just as important as showing up for your sessions.
My intention is to make your acupuncture appointment the highlight of your week in an environment that makes you feel safe and accepted.
